Understanding Design DOES New Realities Exhibition
2018

New Realities proposes a multidisciplinary tour through 13 pieces of national and international creators, with the intention of giving answers to possible questions and exploring the role of design in the conception of new physical and virtual scenarios.

New Realities expresses the contrast between the new technologies and creations of a digital nature and the physical environment in which they are developed, as well as the friction between analog elements and virtual environments, through materiality.

Is designing a physical or virtual act? Is photography the virtual medium of the object? Is the light an analog or digital expression? Through the image, does the object become representation? Does the machine understand the material better than the hand? Can the subject be digital? Do we use more design than analog or virtual? What is analog, what is digital? What is physical, what is virtual?

With the participation of: Studio Ilio, Roos Meerman, Laureline Galliot, Dom Sebastian, Jochen Holz, Line-us, Silo Studio, Formabesta, Jordi Canudas, Lucas Muñoz, Sara de Ubieta, Raquel Quevedo, TAKK.
